A company name and the country you work in, plus the hours themselves: contracted and actual hours a week, optionally your typical start and end times, days in the office, how often you work overtime, whether you are on call, your role, employment type and rough tenure, a work-life balance rating, and a comment if you want to add one.

Nothing else. No email address, no name, no account, no password. There is no sign-up step, because there is nothing to sign up to.

Exactly what you typed, plus three things the site adds: a random two-word handle such as quiet-otter, the time you submitted, and a random identifier for the row.

The handle labels a report, not a person. It is drawn at random each time, so two reports you post are not linked to each other, to you, or to anything else on the site. That is not a promise we are keeping on your behalf; there is simply nothing stored that could make the link.

We do not check that you work anywhere. An earlier version of this site emailed a code to a work address to prove employment. That is gone, along with the address it needed. The trade is deliberate and it cuts both ways: nothing identifying is collected, and no report on this site has been verified by anyone. Read them accordingly.

We do not suppress a company's own averages, because the company is the unit of publication. We do hide a country-by-country breakdown wherever fewer than three people have reported from that country, since “the one person in Ireland works 62 hours” names them.

A published report cannot be edited, and it cannot be traced back to you in order to prove it is yours. That is the direct cost of collecting nothing: there is no way to authenticate a request to change one specific row.

If a report should come down — it identifies someone, it is abusive, or it is simply wrong — write to foundry@925.fyi and say which company and roughly when, and it will be hidden or deleted by hand.

We may update this notice — as the site changes, what it describes has to change with it. The date at the top says when it last changed, and anything significant will be called out here rather than slipped in quietly.
